Purchase: I bought these about 2 year ago at Dover for around $50.
Likes: I like that these half chaps will fit over jeans or breeches. The size is perfect for me. They also don't look like very cheap half chaps.
Dislikes: These are very thin and if your doing a lot of exercises, etc they won't prevent rubs. These usually last about 6 months before they start falling apart.
Quality: I used these for a few months last year(about 1x a week) and just started using then again 2x a week and they are being held together by duct tape because they are so worn out, and have holes. I don't even do a lot of posting or hard work. My tack usually lasts for a very long time but these will be going in the trash soon.
Summary: I would only recommend these for someone who doesn't mind very thin half chaps and rides about 1x a week. Good starting half chaps for beginner but in this price range you can find something nicer.
