Purchase: I bought these boots for about $200 from a local tack shop (the Horse Habit) for a pair of boots to use in some low shows and for general riding. (I am a hunter/jumper)
Likes: I love the look of these boots. And they break in quite quickly. They price was also nice, I have seen them advertised often at $250, and occasionally and $289. They also fit really well. What I would caution is that make sure they fit, not everyone can wear this boot, the way the calve is proportioned.
Dislikes: When I first wore them, they were quite stiff, and the first all day show I wore them to, I got blisters. I also had some problems with my feet sliding out of the stirrups, but that corrected itself in time.
Quality: The quality could be better, but could also be worse. They are really about what you expect from a $250 boot. If you want better quality than these, go with a more expensive boot.
Summary: I would buy these boots again, and I would advise others to buy them IF they fit well. I have heard lots of nasty things about these boots when they don't fit properly.
