Purchase: I purchased this saddle new through a local representative for $2,300. I've had this saddle for 1 year.
Likes: I love the security of this saddle with the extra deep seat and long thigh block. I was worried about feeling too locked in but I found it very comfortable and not restrictive. I considered paying more for the buffalo seat but I was advised that this saddle had plenty of grip with the regular seat. It's very grippy and soft. I do not need to ride in extra grippy breeches anymore (previously necessary for my young and silly horses). I ordered a wide tree for my arabian/fresian/WB cross -fits her well where other saddles haven't.
Dislikes: Nothing so far
Quality: This is a well constructed saddle with quality leather for this price range. The leather is easy to care for and looks brand new after one year. Still very soft and supple.
Summary: I love this saddle! It's great for extra security when you need it, very attractive. Great price for the quality. I'm looking for the same saddle in EXTRA wide my next up and coming young mare.
