Purchase: I bought this saddle from Dover Saddlery for $699 with a free bridle. My old Bates was much too big and not suited to what I wanted to do.
Likes: The leather is amazing. It broke in in less then a week, without oil. The knee rolls are soft and comfortable, and the seat is nice for longer rides. The flaps are stiffer, but still very comfortable. The stitching is lovely. My trainer took one look at my saddle and immediately asked, "Is that a $3000 saddle?" Along with her, many people have asked me if it was $3000+! I prefer this saddle to my trainer's calfskin Anartes.
Dislikes: The billet straps wear a little.. but I'm not too worried. I will be buying a Circuit girth to match, as well as bigger. (My girth is too small, so it's a little pulling.
Quality: AMAZING. Soft and supple, quality leather.
Summary: I refuse to ride in any other saddle.. Buy this saddle!
