Purchase: I paid $80 for these half chaps at a local tack store. They retail for $99.
Likes: I love these half chaps! Unlike my old half chaps, these don't wrinkle up in the ankle area or sag. The elastic in the back allows me to wear them over jeans or breeches. They look classy. The quilted suede on the inside provides excellent grip and cushion. The outside is very easy to clean. The zipper in the back zips from top to bottom, which makes putting them on a breeze. Also, a velcro cover protects the zipper from dirt. These chaps look awesome with my ariat boots.
Dislikes: I love everything about these chaps.
Quality: Very sturdy. The zipper on my old generic chaps broke after a year, but ariat put a heavy duty zipper on these chaps. Easy to clean, always looks great. The sizing charts will fit ANYBODY. I'm very tall and slender, and ariat is the only company that could fit me.
Summary: I love these chaps, as well as everything I get from Ariat. I'll never buy another non-ariat boot or chap again!
