Purchase: I bought these from horseloverz.com for around $20. I needed some form of protection on my horses leg while doing round pen work and training.
Likes: The stitching and velcro on these boots are great. The boot itself is covered in very durable nylon with a nice layer of neoprene on the inside. They dint have the stiff feel you get with other new boots that haven't been broken in. Over all I loved them when I first received them in the mail.
Dislikes: The one and only thing I don't like about these boots is the fact they come in a "one size fits all" theory. Needless to say they didn't fit the horse I intended to use them on. While they fit great around the tendon area, once I tried to put them on closer to the fetlock I saw really quickly they weren't going to work. The bottom piece of velcro barley fit and I had gaping areas above it. If you had a horse with small to mid size fetlock joints, these boots would be great. My mare on the other hand has pretty decent size legs and these just wouldnt work.
Quality: Quality was great for the price I paid. Whether it was a design error or my mares fetlock joint was just to big, well maybe a little of both.
Summary: If you have a small to mid size horse (no bigger than 15.1hh) these would work great. Anything bigger than 15.1 will probably have fitting issues with these.
If only they sold these boots in actual sizes...
