Purchase: I bought this saddle in the full leather/ calf skin model for $799 in May 2009 from Atlanta Saddlery.
Likes: I absolutely LOVE how comfortable this saddle is. It needs absolutely no break in period and the movable knee blocks are a delight. You can play with them and get them exactly in a position that is right for you. Toulouse calls it a close contact saddle but I'd say it's more of an all purpose as it doesn't set you as far forward as you'd expect from a CC. I've used it regularly 5-6 days a week now since I purchased it and it's worn very well and cleans super easily.
Dislikes: I really have no dislikes about this saddle. If I were to be really petty I'd say that the leather scuffs slightly due to how soft it is, but it cleans up and looks just like new with some leather conditioner. I use horseman's 1 step and it looks brand new every time.
Quality: I'd say the quality easily matches Pessoa but at a 1/3 of the cost. I love it so much that I am looking to replace my Stubben dressage saddle with one from Toulouse this fall.
Summary: Over all I'd say Toulouse saddles are a great value for the price. They are comfortable, fit my horse wonderfully and look like a saddle that easily costs 3 times as much. My friend loved mine so much she bought a padgett of her own this summer. I highly recommend looking in to them if you can find one in your area, you won't be sorry. :o)
