Likes: As a long time Wintec owner, the overall quality is consistent with the workmanship of other Wintec saddles. This is a new model that has improvement in the equisuede compared to the Isabelle. The gullet system offers versatility.
Dislikes: As a brand new model introduced in 2009, there is a very serious problem that needs to be addressed. These saddles measure over an inch over the seat size they are sold in. The dealer I bought this from failed to disclose that. Upon calling Wintec, I was also given a spiel about the trees and the seat, and that I should have been told to buy 1/2 inch smaller than I normally ride in. Neither the dealer nor Wintec are willing to help me, as I have a saddle way too big for me. Further research has shown that the saddles they sell as an 18 inch is SMALLER than my saddle, a 17 1/2!! I feel my saddle is defective or mislabeled but the sellers are unwilling to consider letting me trade it in.
Quality: The seat sizing is misleading and should be disclosed. Other than that, very good quality.
Summary: Do not buy one without sitting in one and have the option to return. Do not depend on the seller to provide accurate information. These saddles are the synthetic version of the Bates Innova which are sold in seat size "ranges". Even Wintec stated that they did not know why the Pro was not sold like the Innova since the sizes stamped on the saddle do not correspond with the measurement
