Purchase: After 8 years of going through just about every expensive quality saddle out there. NOTHING would fit my horse. He has a very odd shape to his shoulders. Not even the Bob Marshall treeless worked for him.. I called Meleta Brown. I explained my problem to her. She was nice enough to let me borrow her loaner saddle. I only had to pay for shipping. It was the best thing I ever did. I was lucky enough to find one on ebay for $1500
Likes: Where do I start??? I love this saddle. My horse can move his shoulders again. We are now running 1D times. Sits me where I need to be and my horse doesn't wrinkle his nose when he sees the saddle coming. Great quality leather.
Dislikes: Like any new saddle just a bit squeaky. I would have liked a smaller seat size but the smallest made for this saddle is a 14".
Quality: I only buy quality tack for my horse. Crates name says it all. Will last me many many years. Should be the last saddle I buy for this horse.
Summary: I highly recommend this saddle. Call Meleta Brown with questions. I sent her pics of my barrel horse and she could visually see the damage my current saddle was doing. THANKS MELETA!!!!!
