Purchase: I purchased this saddle at the Midwest Horse fair from Mounds Pet supplies for $900. I was looking for a new english saddle because my Crosby was too small for me.
Likes: The instant I sat in it I was in love. My initial reaction is this can't be an english saddle. The seat is secure and my legs dropped right to where they needed to be. I had sat in stubbean, Crosby, Wintec etc. but when I sat in this one I knew it was going home with me. (The stubbean was a close second)
Dislikes: Stirrup leathers are a little hard to slip onto the metal bar. Other than that minor thing there isn't anything I dislike.
Quality: The leather is drum dyed and it is very supple so break in time was nill. It fits all my horses wonderfully with NO pressure points. All billets are quality leather that will last.
Summary: I've actually stopped using my western work saddle due the secure seat in this saddle. Also, riding english doesn't make my ankles or knees sore. I will definitely be looking at this brand first when I need a new saddle.
