Purchase: I purchased this step stool from sstack.com for about $18.00. I liked this because it was small and would fold up to fit in my brush box.
Likes: Small, lightweight and folds up for easy storage. It also comes with a string so that you can lift it off the ground after you are on the horse and take it with you on trail rides.
Dislikes: This stool only has 3 legs and is not sturdy at all. This is not something that should be used by a beginner rider or someone who is not graceful about getting on their horse. Can tip over very easily!
Quality: The materials are solid, but the construction is faulty.
Summary: This is not something that I would recommend. It could come in handy in a pinch, but it just is not very sturdy and you could easily get hurt if your horse does not stand still while you are getting on.
