Purchase: I bought this saddle from a consignment shop in Portland OR after consulting with the owner at Classic Saddlery about the saddles. She let me know that the saddle would be about 2900. new and that the adjustable tree can be replaced if it ever breaks, but that the model my saddle has rarely has problems.
Likes: It was amazingly comfortable from the very first moment. I often feel uncomfortable like the front of my pelvis "hits" the tree, never any of that in this saddle model. My trainer has the same issue, she LOVES this saddle. It is so easy to adjust the tree, just moments, lift a teeny flap and use a "key". Very supple, high quality leather. The horses seem to find it very freeing as well, they go well in it. I was very lucky and paid only 1600. for it.
Dislikes: I haven't found a thing I don't like, and people admire the looks of it frequently.
Quality: Well constructed, great design, very high quality saddle. I am surprised they don't seem more famous and well known. I met a gal who has two of them!
Summary: Highly recommend, I'd buy another in a heartbeat, indeed I plan to buy a new one when (if) this one ever wears out!
