Purchase: I bought this saddle used off ebay for $700. It was in very good condition, and seemed to be a pretty good price.
Likes: The design and construction were generally very good. The style was simple and attractive, and the leather was of very good quality. There were no blocks or kneerolls, and so it was easy to find a good position over the top of a fence.
Dislikes: This saddle was really uncomfortable to sit in! The twist was very narrow, and the edge of the seat seemed to catch me right on my seatbones (and I'm not a big lady). It gave me such a sore butt that I resorted to riding without underwear, and I don't need to elaborate on how bad of an idea that was. The flaps were not quite as forward cut as I would have liked, but that might have just been because I needed a larger seat size.
Quality: The quality and construction were great. The stitching was tight, and the leather was beautiful.
Summary: This saddle could be a good choice if you're after a flatish, close contact saddle without knee rolls or blocks. Just be sure to sit in it before you buy it!
