Likes: This saddle comes in an adult sized 17" seat with shorter flaps sized for a smaller person. I'm a 5'3" adult and not exactly kid sized anymore ;) and this saddle is the perfect size for me and fits my TB/Percheron beautifully. After trying several saddles the issue always seemed to be the saddle flap taking up too much of my calf when I shortened the stirrups to jumping length. This saddle however, fits well. Very comfortable, not overly cushy but not hard either, perfect for allowing nice comfortable contact with the horse.
Gorgeous chocolate brown leather and beautiful craftsmanship...this saddle looks like it might last me forever with the proper care.
The seat is deeper than some, which I like for flatwork. Being able to bring my stirrups up for jumping while still having some leg on the horse makes this saddle my favorite for jumping as well.
Dislikes: The price to get a matching bridle and leathers. Ouch.
Quality: Excellent. Absolutely no complaints. Leather might not be as immediately soft as some of the high end french saddles, but the quality is there and the more broken in it gets, the more I love it. A nice compromise between comfort/beauty/durability.
Summary: Anyone with shorter legs should try this saddle out. It's worth every penny, even at full retail.
