Purchase: I buy this online at horse.com for $10 per bottle. When I run out and am in a rush, I can buy it for $14 per bottle locally.
Likes: This stuff works great. They have a double money back guarantee, which sold me on trying it. I use it on my thoroughbreds, and if used regularly (every other day basis), it keeps their feet from cracking or getting abcesses. It's really inexpensive and works better than any other topical hoof treatment I've ever used.
Dislikes: It smells terrible, but you ony smell it when you're applying it. Once it's dry you can't smell it any more. The smell doesn't bother me enough to not buy it.
Quality: Comes in a plastic bottle with a built-in brush. It works great.
Summary: I also use a biotin supplement on my horses because they have very bad feet. But this combined with regular trimming, a biotin supplement, and good feeding has really helped my horses. I live in a place where winters are just muddy, and my horses were getting abcesses every single winter (all the horses were getting at least one). I started using this, along with biotin and I started trimming feet myself rather than hiring the farrier and things really turned around. Now everyone has great feet that don't crack. I highly recommend it.
