Purchase: I recently (Fall '09) purchased this saddle used on eBay. It only cost me $400 due to a bit of cosmetic cracking on the seat. My trainer was quick to inform me her Prestige cost more than $2000.
Likes: Although slightly abused, the leather is really gorgeous. It's very soft and deceptively strong. The age has only made it look better. It rides like a champ. I'm in a good position, no fighting to keep my leg back. It fits a wide variety of horses. The channel between the panels is very roomy, no pinched backs.
Dislikes: It won't fit my sway backed Arab mare. Guess I can't have it all.
Quality: Gorgeous leather, super sturdy stitching, it's older but the thigh blocks are tight and the panels are a long way from needing reflocking. I'll have this saddle a very long time.
Summary: I love this saddle. It is the nicest saddle I've ever owned. I would gladly have paid full price. The only reason it doesn't get a "5" is because I've ridden in a Hennig.
Usefulness Rating: 2 out of 5.
