Likes: EVERYTHING! The saddle is gorgeous and balanced. Wide seat for me, wide panels for my horse and wide channel for comfort, short tree points, everything about the saddle is made with the horse and rider in mind. It is one of the nicest designed saddles I've ever had, especially for being a mid-price range. It completely outclasses similarly priced saddles like HDR or Toulouse. Comfortable for all day trail riding, hunting, and open and easy enough for flatting and dressage. Secure and easy over fences. My horse and I love this saddle!!
Dislikes: The leather is gorgeous, but waterstains fairly easily. The billets are also a little short for a AP saddle, I had to go a girth size up, other than that, NOTHING! This saddle is just, IDEAL :)
Quality: EXCELLENT!!!! Soft, supple but durable leather, doesn't scuff or scrape easily. I bought this saddle well-used from a busy yard and its still in show-ring shape. I can't believe how nice this saddle is for what I paid.
Summary: I love the saddle so much, I just bought an Ideal dressage saddle, and am going to look for an Ideal eventing saddle. I'm told they do custom fitting too. Ideal saddles are top quality for a fraction of the price. No wonder they are so popular in England.
