Purchase: I bought 5 of these blankets at a year end sale last year. Paid around $120 ea for them.
Likes: I like the fit of the freestyle system. Kept the rain and snow out. Kept the horses dry and warm. I was looking for a blanket for a full neck cover for added warmth.
Dislikes: All the blankets rubbed out their manes in about 3-4 weeks. Literally rubbed them out, gone! AND one of the blankets got shredded, not just ripped.....shredded! I have NEVER had a blanket tear so bad before. I know my horses are hard on blankets but come on, this thing didn't last 2 weeks. I replaced it with a Rhino Wug and have not had any more issues. And lastly the belly straps are constantly breaking. Out of the 5 blankets one survived past 2 months without major damage. Even that one has small rips and tears though.
Quality: They seem durable but looks are not everything.
Summary: I would not recommend these blankets for those of you wanting a blanket to last a long time. I have always been a die hard Weatherbeeta fan but since this experience I have changed my tune. Rhino's all the way.
