Purchase: Originally found it at a Competition, they were offering 2 for 1 and as I had recently acquired not one, but two new horses, I thought I was getting a great deal. I paid $75.00 each plus tax.
Likes: Nice high denier count, I would guess at least 1200, although I've seen them advertised privately at 1500. Very sturdy stitching, good construction, on the higher fill end of a medium weight blanket.
Dislikes: No labeling or product information; so you have to really guess as to what you're getting. . . Fits a little big, and definitely better fitting on a stockier horse.
These don't seem to be widely available; not a common product in any of the local tack stores, although I found one the other day. . .
Seem to only come in black, with silver and burgundy trim.
Quality: Good strong construction; neither of the young horses who wore these had ever worn a blanket before, and there were zero issues. No rips, no tears, they look like I just bought them, only smellier, lol.
Summary: Would buy again, and again and again. I have over twenty blankets, and these are the only ones that have never needed repairs.
