Purchase: I bought this headstall at my local tack store because I was looking for a flashy, out of the ordinary headstall for my horse to wear at reining shows. I paid $145 CAD for it.
Likes: The leather is of very good quality for the money. I have paid twice as much for headstalls with leather very similar to this. It seemed to be well constructed and I also loved the stylized look of the headstall with the crystal embellished conchos and the fat browband.
Dislikes: Because of the crystals, the headstall would not be suitable for every day use, and it certainly won't last forever even with limited use.
Quality: Very good quality construction. It is built with very good leather and the hardware seems built to last. Again, this headstall isn't suitable for every day use because of the crystals though. Otherwise very well made for the money.
Summary: Very nice bridle for the show person on a budget, and for someone who likes to be a little different! This headstall would fit right in at a barrel event though :) Don't use it every day or the crystals will pop off.
