Purchase: I bought a 27lb Bucket of Stall Fresh from Horse and Hound in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. I paid $50 plus tax. I had asked the salesperson about it after I had seen the display in the store. She said it was for stalls and trailers to help with ammonia smell and excess moisture.
Likes: The 27lb bucket of Stall Fresh is easy to carry and use. I have a small scoop that I use to put the Stall Fresh down with. All I do is muck out the stall, top dress the wet spots with a sprinkling of the powder and rebed. POOF! No more disgusting urine odor!
Dislikes: I have no complaints.
Quality: Stall Fresh is a brown powder that has a nice smell. But it is not overpowering.
Summary: I am very happy with the performance of Stall Fresh. It does what the brochure says it will do. It reduces moisture and eliminates urine and ammonia odor. I have one stall with pine shavings and the 27 lb Bucket has lasted about 60 days and I still have about half of it left. A little definitely goes a long way.
