Purchase: Two friends own Sycamore Creek Saddles and have been very pleased with them. I went to Tony Pritchett's website to look at his saddles. After several emails to Tony I purchased GAM010 which he had in stock and was on sale for $415 (originally $450). Tony was also running a free shipping special at the time so I considered myself especially fortunate. Tony also told me that although the saddle was on sale, it still retained all the warranties of saddles sold at regular price!
Likes: I ordered GAM010 in black leather with a black roughout seat and that is exactly what I received. It is a comfortable, lightweight saddle, very easy to lift on and off my horse. The saddle fits my paso fino very well-it doesn't move or shift. The stirrups hang straight and there is no resistance in the fenders so there is no breaking in period!
Dislikes: I have been riding daily in this saddle for the last two and 1/2 weeks and I can't find anything that I don't like!
Quality: GAM010 saddle is made of good quality leather, soft and supple. It is very comfortable with good padding on seat and underside. This saddle is very comparable to much higher priced saddles.
Summary: I highly recommend GAM010 saddle from Sycamore Creek Saddle. I couldn't have asked for better quality at this most affordable price. Tony was wonderful to work with-he answered all questions I had the same day. He asked for simple pictures and diagram to insure a good saddle fit and he shipped promptly!
