Purchase: I recieved these as a Birthday present in Silver to match my cross country colors. I believe they were around $25, I am not sure.
Likes: The silver color is great - I like the color selections that Davis provides. I like that matching Splint boots are available too. They did the job of protecting my horse from overreaching when I jump Cross Country, which was their whole purpose. I was pleased with the performance, they didn't slide around alot. The velcro stayed closed and protected my horse well.
Dislikes: They fall apart a little bit. The velcro, after about 5 or 6 uses, is coming off of the bell boot, and I cannot use them as often as I need to - my friends had the same problems. This happened with new pairs too. The velcro comes off - which means you constantly have to buy new ones. Not pleased with the stitching and durability of this product.
Quality: Sturdy rubber, but poorly attatched velcro comes off within a few uses. Protects the horse exceptionally well, providing that the velcro stays on! Not extremely pleased with this product, but it is alright.
