Purchase: I was searching for a Saddle for my Walking Horse and someone suggested looking at Horse Tack Review, I searched and checked prices and reviews from several companies, after weeks I concluded the best Saddle in my price range was the Southern Trails, I purchased it for 950.00
Likes: The Premium Leather is great, no real break-in was required. I was able to choose the color to match my Gelding.
I was able to choose the Cantle height, I like a deeper seat.
I also liked the fact I was able to have several discussions with the owner, my calls were answered by a live person and my emails were answered in 1-2 hours.
Dislikes: In 4 months, I have yet to find anything I do not like.
Quality: Quality is great, everything fits. I have owned much more expensive Saddles that had fitting issues.
Summary: Bottom line is; sometimes you can have you cake and eat it too, without going broke :)
