Purchase: I purchased these boots through Horseloverz for $25. I needed some protective boots for my horses that were easy on/off.
Likes: They are stunning. They come in different colors and have synthetic soft fleece on the inside to wick away moisture and prevent rubbing. I got pink/raspberry for one horse and navy/baby blue for the second. They are sturdy and easy on/off. Reasonable price.
Dislikes: I don't know if I can machine wash them (which would be ideal), so I'll have to hand wash them...
It is easy to overtighten them, so you have to make sure you don't and that they are snug, but not tight. As long as you can get a finger underneath the strap, you're good to go.
Quality: The outside is a flexi-shell open-front. It has soft, cushiony synthetic fleece inside to wick away moisture. Loop velcro closures with a top velcro closure to seal the loop closures. Very secure and stays on your horse. They're open front design. Very sturdy made and protect horse's cannons/pasterns. There are also ankle boots you can purchase, but I didn't get those.
Summary: These are nice boots to have. I was certainly impressed with them. Roma designed a good thing. I would just like it they were machine washable (they don't look like they are and the fleece unremoveable). I would recommend these boots for those who do all purpose and jumping disciplines.
