Purchase: I BOUGHT IT ON E-BAY FOR MY PERCHERON GELDING, I NEEDED A REALLY WIDE SADDLE TO FIT HIM. THIS WAS ADVERTISED AS A 10" GULLET, WHICH IT IS. i PAID $260.00 AFTER SHIPPING AND HANDLING
Likes: I LIKE THE WEIGHT AND THE LOOK OF THE SADDLE. THE LEATHER ON THE SEAT IS NICE.
Dislikes: THE BILLET STRAPS ARE MADE OF A VERY POOR QUALITY LEATHER AS IS MOST OF THE SADDLE. THE SEAT IS THE ONLY NICE LEATHER ON THE WHOLE THING. IT IS TRULY EXTRA WIDE- TO WIDE FOR EVEN MY PERCHERON GELDING.
Quality: POOR QUALITY CONSTRUCTION. THE LEATHER IS VERY POOR QUALITY AND THE WORKMANSIP IS POOR TOO. THERE ARE MANY SEAMS THAT ARE READY TO BUST AND ITS FAIRLY NEW STILL (USED MAYBE 15 TIMES)
Summary: POOR QUALITY SADDLE, BUT FOR THE LOW PRICE ITS OKAY AS LONG AS IT IS USED VERY LIGHTLY. I WOULD NOT TAKE IT OUT ON THE TRAIL FOR FEAR THE BILLETS WOULD BREAK AND I'D BE STUCK
