Category: Dressage Saddles
Purchase: I bought this off eBay used for about $375 - saddle only.
Likes: It has a comfortable, non- restrictive seat but you can still obtain a correct riding position.
Dislikes: A cheap wool flocking is used and the panels are very hard - it was recomended by a saddle fitter to get a complete re-flock of my saddle. Although my horse was not unsound from this saddle, when I put on another saddle w/very soft panels her movement and willingness changed tremendously and better ride for both of us. The saddle will not fit a wide range of horses. Although it fits my young mare well, it did not come close to fitting my TB build guy (narrow) or my heavy Oldenburg mare (wide).
Quality: Great value for the money if it fits your horse, mid-range quality saddle.
Summary: Make sure the panels are not too hard, or consider re-flocking the saddle, and make sure it fits your horse properly. Great saddle other wise.
Usefulness Rating: 2.75 out of 5.
