Purchase: I bought these online from Dover Saddlery for $19.99 (1 pair). I thought I'd try these as they were nice looking and reasonably priced.
Likes: The reasonable price and the protection I thought they'd provide.
Dislikes: They were not what I thought they were. When I opened up the box the day I got them in the mail, they were flat, the fleece was flimsy and cheap and the outside material felt like slippery vinyl. They didn't look like much and I was very disappointed.
Quality: The outside was some slippery vinyl that looked shiny and almost leather like, but it wasn't. The inside had flimsy synthetic fleece that was very thin and didn't have lush cushion. The hook & loop velcro closures looked as if you could overtighten them. I did not try them on my horses and sent them back. Wasn't going to mess with them.
Summary: I don't recommend these. You'd better off buying quality name brand boots such as Equifit, Woof, Veredus, etc. They are expensive, yes, but they will last a long time and will be of excellent quality and provide advanced support for your horse.
