Purchase: I bought my Devon used (gently) at bevals in nj for $1595. I was using my trainer's saddle, but then I outgrew it, and I needed my own saddle so I could exercise horses and ponies at other barns, so I began searching for my saddle.
Likes: If you want an amazing hunter/eq saddle,without the cost of the butet, than this is the saddle for you! I am doing childrens eq, and catch rides on some ponies, and this saddle is amazing. My equitation has really improved since I got this saddle, and it let's me get into a nice half seat in hunters. This saddle is for a serious rider who wants the best hunter/eq saddle out there.
Dislikes: nothing, other than the fact that it doesn't grow with me!!!!!!!!!
Quality: all beval saddles have superior quality. Although my saddle is used, the stitching and leather is in excellent shape.
