Purchase: Arbico organics website, I believe it was 32.95 and it came with free shipping. I bought the quart size concentrate, which made a gallon and a half.
Likes: I like that it is economical, that you can make fly spray for 5.50 a quart instead of the 14.95 a quart you pay for ready to use fly spray in any brand.
I like that it doesn't make my horse run away when I start spraying him. I used to think that this was because he didn't like things being sprayed, but after I got this fly spray I realized that the other stuff (non-organic) must burn his nose and eyes or bother him in some other way.
Dislikes: I didn't like that it didn't last, you had to apply it at least once a day, and it didn't really last very long. I don't think it would withstand extremely heavy fly invasions or deal with heavy mosquito problems very well.
It also made his coat oily and made the hair clump together in a greasy way if you applied too much.
Quality: It doesn't settle, so you don't have to shake it all the time. I like this aspect.
Summary: Get it, because your horse will thank you for not spraying poisonous sprays on him. But if you need heavy fly control, try something different.
