Purchase: I purchased this saddle on ebay, nearly brand new for $1200. The previous owner only used it for show so it looks phenomenal.
Likes: I love love love the way the seat balances you so nicely. Everyone that rides in the saddle raves about it. I also like that Crosby was the only brand who offered a long enough forward flap for my long thigh bone. It seems very durable and is lightweight. It fits my wider AQHA mare well with no pressure points. ;) Seat size runs true.
Dislikes: The color is too caramelly orange for me. I would prefer it darker, which it doesn't seem to get no matter how much I oil it. I also am annoyed that the crosby trees are universal, when they say medium tree, each model varies tremendously. I have an XL also.
Quality: The quality and construction is wonderful. Holds up well to everyday riding and still looks brand new. I would recommend a crosby to anyone who was looking for a new saddle.
Summary: Bottom Line is I'd buy another one again in a heartbeat....but I might look for another color. Also check ebay for a great deal, because retail on this saddle is $2400.
