Purchase: I purchased it from Apple Saddlery in late 2008 when it became available and paid about $600 for it. I wanted to get a dressage saddle but could not afford a really fancy, more expensive model.
Likes: First of all, of course I like the price vs. the other dressage saddles on the market. It is very easy to clean, and it doesn't tend to hold the dirt anyway. I also like the new girthing Y system, which is supposed to balance the weight distribution. I find it is a comfortable saddle and like the idea of the Cair system - the new air system which will conform to your horses back. I don't have to worry if my horse changes shape by gaining or losing weight as it will adjust. I also like how the knee rolls can be changed or adjusted (velcro- but very strong and no issues there)
Dislikes: It is a tad slippery because of the finish. I also would probably like to get the larger knee blocks that you can put in (they are removable)
Quality: So far it is holding together very well. No stitching issues. I did find I had a stirrup leather putting on undue pressure underneath the flap the way it was angled, but it didn't do more than make a dent on the underside of the flap.
Summary: It is a good buy for either hard using or nice enough to show in.
