Purchase: I got this saddle just about 4 years ago from Apple Saddlery for around $800. ( I got the saddle package).
Likes: This saddle is amazing. It's construction is very immaculate, stitching is wonderful. So comfortable and very appealing. The easy change gullet system is very nice to have, along with the CAIR package. It doesn't get slippery in the rain like most saddles tend to. SUPER easy to clean, just hose it off... or put it in the shower. 4 years of tons of use and this saddle looks exactly the same as it did the first day I took it out of the box!!!
Dislikes: The knee flaps are not as forward as I personally would like... but they most definitely do the job.
Quality: Construction is amazing. The seat is balanced and grippy. The saddle looks exactly like leather and I get compliments wherever I go. It is made very well and will take a lot of abuse and use.
Summary: I absolutely love this saddle, I will get another when this one wears out. I ride 4-5 times a week, at least 2 horses per day working on the flat and over 3-4 foot jumps with this same saddle and they love it. There movement is extended and a lot more free. Whether it is trail riding, competing in the jumper ring or eventing this saddle can't get any better. I feel secure and comfortable. I recommend this saddle to anyone thinking about buying it.
