Purchase: I bought this fly mask from State Line Tack for about $25 when it was on sale. My geldings old fly mask had disappointed me, so I decided to spend a bit more money for a higher quality mask.
Likes: Everything! The eye darts never cave in, and the material has not frayed or come undone for an entire summer. It still looks like new, and I love how I can wash it in the washing machine.
It stays on, which is saying something for my little guy. He pulled his old fly mask off because of all of the elastic on it. The Cashell mask has only velcro, which is just as safe, but a bit harder to come undone. It will only come off if your horse absolutely needs it off.
I also love how it comes in so many sizes. Neither of my geldings are average sized (one is an arab cross, the other warmblood sized), and it is great to find matching fly masks that will fit both.
Dislikes: The material used to make the ears looks cheap, but it has held up so far.
Quality: Very well made! Strong seams, solid mesh, and nice velcro closure(no elastic). All in all, a great product.
Summary: Definitely a great buy. I will keep my eyes open for another one!
