Purchase: I bought this saddle used on ebay for $900 including a HAF pad and girth. I was looking for a temporary saddle to use as my mare's back seemed a little sore from a treed saddle that I had been using on her.
Likes: I love this saddle. I actually bought one of these saddles new in 2005 and loved it except that I had trouble with slipping on steep hills with that saddle. This saddle has not slipped on hills or otherwise. It has the sympanova underside whereas my old Freeform had wool. I suspect that this is the difference. The saddle fits my Arabian mare very well. She moves freely and does not object to being saddled with this saddle. Extremely comfortable for me whether on trail or on the hunt.
Dislikes: Billets are a bit long. When I upgrade this saddle, I"m going to buy one with the new cutback option for higher withered horses. I've not had trouble with rubbing on the withers, but better safe that sorry. Otherwise, nothing.
Quality: Quality appears good. This saddle is several years old, and I can seen that it has been used. It still looks good though, and I expect to get several more years of hard use out of it.
Summary: I love this saddle! With an appropriate saddle pad (Skito or HAF) and safety stirrups, you're ready to ride comfortably for hours. You and your horse will love it!
