Manufacturer: Silver Fox
Model: Eventing Saddle
Category: Jumping Saddles
Purchase: I bought this saddle brand new through a tack shop saddle fitter. I paid $250 just for the saddle.
Likes: I like how the saddle comes in a Wide tree.
Dislikes: The leather is very poor quality!
Quality: The leather is cheap! It scratches very easily and seems thin. The construction and stitches are not sturdy. I bought this saddle over a year ago(kept it covered), never rode in it, and it is wearing before my eyes. It fit my huge Appendix mare with high withers, but will not fit any other of my horses. My $60 Argentina saddle is better quality . . .
Summary: I feel sick about the money I put into this saddle and I wish I would have done the research to buy a used name-brand one. Please be aware that these saddles are only good for beginners who are not planning on riding everyday! Needless to say, this saddle is going to leave my tack room ASAP. On top of everything else, I cannot find a way to contact Silver Fox about a return or refund of any sort!
