Purchase: I have two of these girths, as my horse outgrew the first one. I got the first at a shop that was going out of business for about $55, the other I got from Dover for about $75. I just like the idea of soft fleece against my horse.
Likes: I have had these girths for a couple years, and they look almost new. I don't wash often, but when I do, the hair comes right out and they look as good as new! The roller buckles and elastic have also held up. I bought a cheap fleece girth for a smaller horse, and found the buckles has less room on the buckle and the billets didn't fit-made me swear I wouldn't buy anything but the Toklats.
Dislikes: I can't think of anything. I wish they were cheaper, but you get what you pay for!
Quality: Excellent! 2 years of steady use and the material, elastic and buckles are almost like new.
Summary: I like a fleece girth, and my horse seems to like them to! Never any sores or problems. If you try to skimp, you just might get what you deserve! Spend the extra few bucks, get real fleece instead of synthetic, and be happy!
