Purchase: I have been searching for a used Antares for years now...they have always been my dream saddle! After buying (and selling) several other brands, I FINALLY found my used Antares on an ebay store for $2,200!
Likes: ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING!!! Oh my goodness, the first time I rode in it, I couldn't stop smiling! I kept chanting, "I love this saddle". I have gone through several other brands of saddles, and NONE have ridden like this. It's SUPER secure and "correct"...my position just happens. I don't have to work to keep my leg in place at all. Jumping is SO fun now because I can actually focus totally on my horse instead of fighting a saddle that pushes my leg back. The leather on this saddle is top quality, sticky, soft, and squishy! I can ride in this saddle for hours. I also like how it fits all my horses well-everything from my ponies up to my 16.1 hand Appendix. I will NEVER buy another brand!
Dislikes: Well, at first, I didn't like the price, but then when I thought about it...I've spent SO much more money on several other saddles that have never worked out. If you buy one of these, at first it will cost more, but you will keep it for a looooooong time.
Quality: Like I said earlier, the quality is perfect. The leather is superior to any other saddle I've ridden in. I stick to this saddle even in my jeans! The construction of this saddle is also really nice. It puts you in a perfect, secure position and balance.
Summary: Don't waste your time with other brands, just bite the bullet, get your wallet out, and purchase this saddle. You won't regret it and you won't stop smiling!!!
