Purchase: I bought this saddle at a local tack shop and paid around 400$ tax included. I was looking for a nice, quality leather saddle that I could use for schooling and showing, in an affordable price because I dont own a horse, but ride school horses and lease occasionally.
Likes: I have a 17" wide tree, and it is very very very very comfortable. This saddle is well built and keeps the rider in a good position
Dislikes: I have found that my saddle has dressage tendancies- a deep comfortable seat which is fine for flat work and dressage but does not work well for jump work.
Quality: Unfortunately, because it is a cheap saddle, the leather is not of great quality. I have only had my saddle for a year and already the black dye has worn away underneath the riders calf. This however is not visible when riding and the saddle still looks fine for showing.
The saddle is very sturdy and well built and makes a great saddle for schooling or hacking.
Summary: Overall a nice saddle that I would still buy again for schooling, however if I had the money or was looking for a saddle to have for 10 or 15 years, I would buy something of better quality. Great, however, for schooling on the flat, hacking and enjoying your horse or pony!
