Purchase: I bought this saddle on Ebay. I paid $400
Likes: I like the western seat type feel of security and the english type stirrup leathers. It fit my Paint very well and he is hard to fit. Great for distance riding, plenty of rings, etc. Uses and english girth. I could get on my horse from the ground without the saddle rolling. I have ridden this saddle for a year and have had no problems with anything at all and we do alot of riding.
Dislikes: I changed the stirrups to english stirrups, my preference. The leather is not the soft top quality but it is not thin or weak.
Quality: Put together well but the leather quality is not top notch. The seat is comfortable padded leather. I like that style of saddle. Everything is heavy duty including the hardware.
Summary: I really like this saddle. It is affordable and if it does not work out for you,you haven't spent a fortune. I have bought expensive saddles many times that were not any better than this saddle. If you like the Tucker Equitation you will like this. I have ridden in both and there is not much noticeable difference.
