Purchase: I bought these boots in 2008 at my local greenhawk store for around $150.00, i needed a boot to wear to my weekly lessons i was taking at the time
Likes: They are fairly comfortable and attractive boots, they were great for my once a week lessons
Dislikes: These boots were fine when i wasn't riding a ton, getting horses from a muddy field or doing any stable chores. However when i started to work a bit they stared to get cracked and dry, even when i would take very good care of them. This summer the sole of one came off at the toe, whenever they get a bit wet the dye bleeds out onto my socks and the leather has actually peeled off the fabric in some places
Quality: the boots seem well constructed, support well, feature a spur rest which my spur won't come off of and have good stirrup grip. however i do not like the quality
Summary: These boots will be great for anyone that is going to be riding up to 3 times a week, who doesn't have to go out to a mucky field to get their horse and doesn't do work like mucking stalls.
for anyone more serious i would recommend a boot with better quality leather, i've heard that some other ariat boots are allot better than these.
