Purchase: Bought this blanket used (but like-new condition) on Ebay for $50
Likes: What is there to NOT love about Baker Blankets and Sheets? These are classic! The fit, the look, they're warm, they wear like iron, easy to wash, stain resistant. They're the classic horse wear and what every traditional english stable outfits their horses in. Another review here mentioned the Blanket being a shavings magnet. Hmmm, I find exactly the opposite! Shavings stick a little bit, but just shake the blanket lightly and they all fall off. I use the big fluffy wood shavings, maybe the other reviewer is using a different type of bedding??? I don't know, but one of the LIKES about this blanket is how well they repel shavings.
Dislikes: If I had to say something, it would be that I wish the drop was cut a little deeper on each side. The Blankets and Sheets fit true to size from chest to tail, but are cut a bit on the slim side through the body.
Quality: Excellent quality and construction. Very durable, great hardware, good stitching, and each Blanket is branded inside for authenticity. Every Sheet and Blanket have the traditional Red Label 5/A brand on the outside.
Summary: The bottom line is that I own 2 Sheets and 1 Blanket, and would love to replace all the others with Bakers as money allows. They're classic, traditional, and worth every penny!
