Purchase: I got this pad for Hanukkah, so I don't know how much it cost. I believe it was from onestopequineshop.com for about 65$, not including shipping.
Likes: I really like how shock absorbing it seems, although I've only ridden in it once. I also like the placement of the girth, which doesn't seem to put pressure on my horse's withers. It also stayed in the middle really well. The girth that came with it is very nice and makes it easy to tighten it up. The seat is very comfortable for me and the pad itself fits my mare very well.
Dislikes: I guess I didn't read the description very well, but I was under the impression that the seat would be microsuede, like the rest of the pad. however, it was kind of fleecy and I was concerned about it being slippery. It wasn't, but still not what I expected. The pad is also kind of thick, but I think it will compress soon.
Quality: It is very strongly made. the stitching is nice and the fabric seems strong.
Summary: so far, I really like this pad. It's very comfortable for me and seems to absorb shock well for my horse.
