Purchase: Equestrian Collections, $54.00 on closeout. Bought them to work with my lacer boots until I get a pair of tall boots.
Likes: The leather is so soft and supple! They feel solid and well made. I bought the XSMid and the height is perfect(I'm 5'3").
Dislikes: I measured my calves twice before sending away for the half-chaps. It's always better to try them on before purchasing but these were such a great deal so I went ahead and purchased them. I thought they were much to small in the calf (couldn't get them zipped easily) but went to a tack store to try on different half chaps and realized that these might actually fit - they just needed to be stretched. So I've been wearing them around the house and I think that although they run small, these will be a perfect half-chap.
Quality: Great build on the chaps, quality seams, a great zipper, overall a solidly built chap.
Summary: I like these half-chaps and would buy them again - just be prepared to have these fit like glue (according to the tack shop half-chaps should fit very tight) and you will need two people to help you get them on the first couple of times.
