Purchase: I bought these breeches for $39.90 on sale at Dover Saddlery. I needed some warm breeches for winter riding.
Likes: They are very sturdy, very nice. They have a convenient side zipper which I like. They are hay/water resistant and don't stain easily. They "hold in" and support your muscles and everything else LOL.
Dislikes: I ordered a 28L and I received what looks like kid's breeches. They are too short and go up to my mid calves and are tight. I will be sending them back because they are not ladies' breeches. Very disappointed by that.
Quality: These breeches are sturdy and weather resistant. Are warm fleece lined to insulate warmth and wick away moisture. They have great support and a handy side zipper for keys, cell phone, treats, etc. I absolutely love them, except I was sent the wrong size and am disappointed. The color I chose was chocolate. I believe they come in blue, black and tan too.
Summary: Make sure you receive the right size regardless of what you ordered. These breeches are very nice and are a great buy otherwise. Good for dressage too...as that's what I mainly do.
