Purchase: Purchased at a local tackshop during Spruce Meadows Masters, they were on sale for 89.99 Cdn. I knew I was going to be boarding out for the fall season and wanted a better pair of boots to wear in the cold.
Likes: Loved the appearance and design of the boot. First time I have ever had a pair of footwear that wicked away and kept my feet warm and dry. No more wet socks wearing these. They did seem to be waterproof. wore them in the snow and they didn't leak through.
Dislikes: The entire toe cap on one boot pulled apart and now they are not wearable at all.
In less than 2 months of casual wear, they fell apart. This is the second pair of Ariats that I have owned and the second pair that have come apart.
Quality: Obviously, not great quality. It looks like they shorted the amount of leather and there wasn't enough to hold the stitching together.
Summary: Totally disappointed and will not be spending any more money on Ariat anything.
