Purchase: I bought this pad from the Impact Gel website for 184.00. I made the pad 3/4 in thick, also, which was an extra 5.00
Likes: EXCELLENT leather. It's gorgeous. I adore this pad. I also love that it's made in the US. The gel is thick and cushy, it does NOT slide around on the horse, has cutouts in the pad for your latigo and billets, room for high withers, and is COMFORTABLE.
Dislikes: Nothing.
Quality: Excellent quality, nice stitching, the leather smells like good leather, and it's really pliable. It's not a cheap pad, and it doesn't look like a cheap pad.
Summary: I love this pad! A lot of my friends had it, I'd heard a lot of excellent things about it, and decided to give it a go. It's worth the hefty price tag for such an excellent quality pad!
It doesn't absorb sweat very well, though. But who rides when it's 100 degrees in the height of summer, anyway?
