Purchase: I purchased this saddle with my Christmas Bonus and man it could not be nicer. I tried it cause it was pretty but it is a superb fit on the horse and darn comfortable to boot. I paid $1,290.00 CDN. This is an American made brand from Alabama and very well constructed.
Likes: Really good construction comfortable for both of us. Normally I would not go for the roughed out leather but the edge stamping on the rough out sold it. It looks as good as it fits. The color is deep and even and it is a decent weight which is good cause my boy is a tall fella.
Dislikes: It was not sold as a set so I did purchase the breast plate separately but the store matched it PERFECTLY. But hey now I have an excuse to go shopping on boxing day to get that new bridal rite?

Summary: WOW this is not the 1st new saddle I ever bought but it by far the prettiest and very close to the most comfy saddle I have ever sat in. The Rocking R brand is solid and well made. I would recommend this to anyone.
