Purchase: I purchased this saddle pad in the colour Red from Hitching Post Tack Shop, Middletown KY. I paid $62.78 for the pad. It was available in multiple colors, and in All Purpose and Dressage sizes. Dressage Pads were more expensive. They come in Red, White, Black, Navy, Hunter Green, Purple. Online, you can get them Numnah Shaped or Custom Colored for additional costs, depending where you buy them.
Likes: There is not a flaw in this pad. They are very thick and airy for a nice feel on the horses back. They fit under almost any saddle, and provide a nice cushion for the horse. They are also very useful if your saddle is too wide - they work as a corrective pad to help fill in space and prevent pinching. They are very easy to wash too- I have found that they do wick away sweat, being polyfilled to some extent, so machine washing is easy and they clean up nice. I also like that there are no straps, loops, nothing to hold them down and they dont slip around.
Dislikes: I have not found a fault in these pads. They last a long time, and are nice to use. Some people have said that they interfere with your connection to the horse through the seat- I have not been able to say it has effected my communication with my horse at all - he goes fine in this and so do I. I dont have a bad word for these pads, except they ARE pricey. It would cost alot to own multiple Poly Pads, which is why I only own one.
Quality: Available in multiple colors, sizes, styles ((western AND english)) and 3 thicknesses, they are made to suit you. They are thick, and durable. No straps to get in the way. They wick away sweat, allow air to flow, and mold to the horses back. Used by all the top Eventers, Show Jumpers, and Finest Riders all around the world. Would not be discouraged by this product. It is THE BEST.
