Purchase: I bought the Thrush Buster through Dover Saddlery for about $8.00 to treat my horses thrush after giving up on Kopertox.
Likes: First of all this treatment had almost no smell! That was the thing that drove me away from Kopertox. Second you don't have to use a toothbrush to apply it! Just squirt it right on the hoof. It worked amazingly well and got rid of most of the thrush just a few days after the treatment. They mean it when they say a single application lasts for 8 days. Thrush Buster also gets brownie points for being purple.
Dislikes: Maybe my bottle was defective, but the stuff leaked everywhere. I had to put it in a different container. It doesn't help that this stuff stains like crazy.
Quality: Gets rid of the thrush problem quickly and efficiently! They just need some work on bottle construction.
Summary: I would recommend Thrush Buster 100%! Your horse will thank you! Just make sure you keep the bottle somewhere separate in case it leaks!
